Learn how these pieces were made

This 10 foot x 33 foot wallpaper installation is about paper and about a life process: illness to death. The more abstract colored images on the right side of the installation end with as an empty frame.

Click for a closer view. On the left side, a strip of cast paper woodcut portraits of my patients, are surrounded by cast paper half sphere representations of HIV. Click for a closer view. In the middle of the installation is a linoleum overprint on a poster image of the Virgin Mary.
Click for a closer view. To the right of the Virgin is a set of nipples letterpress printed from a photoengraving on circles of handmade kozo paper.
