This 
          small chap book was printed during the Southern Graphics Council Conference 
          at the School of Art, Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, March 
          1999. The type was handset and the images are reduced relief photo engravings 
          of woodcut portraits of some of my patients.
          
          Beginning in 1996, in the United States, major positive developments 
          in the HIV epidemic began to occur. These changes, described briefly 
          in this little book, have created The New Face of AIDS. To read this
